More losses are expected to come in the labor market as The Conference Board Employment Trends Index (ETI)(TM) continued its decline in September.
The index fell in September to 108.4, down 0.8 percent from the August revised figure of 109.3, and down almost 10 percent from a year ago. The 14-month fall in the Employment Trends Index (ETI)(TM) is seen in all eight of its components, most notably over the past six months in temporary-help hires and part-time workers for economic reasons.
