A health insurer will be making more individual medical insurance products available in the Northwest.
Assurant Health, Milwaukee, a unit of Assurant Inc., New York, will start selling the products in Washington State Oct. 18, the company says.

The products will include comprehensive policies, catastrophic policies and policies that are compatible with health savings accounts, Assurant Health says.
Assurant Health already has been selling short-term health plans and some other products in Washington State.
