Marketing/High-Net-WorthMorgan Stanley Targeting Native-American Clients

Morgan Stanley says it has hired a team to serve high-net-worth clients in the Native American market. Based in Los Angeles, the team includes two investment representatives and one associate: vice president Bernard Machlovitch, vice president Hans Maentz and sales associate Monica Aguilera.

The team joins Morgan Stanley from Lehman Brothers and now reports to Todd Locicero, regional manager of the private wealth management office in Los Angeles.

"We are extremely pleased that this team, [which] has built a very successful and comprehensive wealth-management practice focused almost exclusively on Native American tribes, has decided to join Morgan Stanley," says Locicero. "Morgan Stanley private wealth management is committed to further developing our coverage of Native American investment solutions, and Bernard and Hans will be critical to leading our efforts."
