Witnesses scheduled to appear include the heads of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., the Office of Thrift Supervision and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
A witness list for the Sept. 23 hearing, "Turmoil in U.S. Credit Markets: Recent Actions Regarding Investment Banks and Other Financial Institutions," was not available at press time.
