Standard Sees Demand For Vision Plans

A unit of StanCorp Financial Group Inc. is adding group eye care coverage.

Standard Insurance Company, part of StanCorp, Portland, Ore., has introduced 3 vision plans: the Balanced Care Vision Plan I, which offers access to a relatively narrow provider network; Balanced Care Vision Plan II, which provides access to a broader provider network; and Balanced Care Vision Plan III, which offers discounts at any provider that the plan member visits.

The plans are available on an employer-paid and an employee-paid basis, Standard says.
