Pershing Adds to FundVest Platform

Pershing LLC, a subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, has added American Funds, JennisonDryden, OppenheimerFunds and Van Eck Global to FundVest–Pershing's no-transaction-fee mutual fund platform.

"American Funds, JennisonDryden, Oppenheimer and Van Eck are among the most highly regarded mutual fund companies in the United States. The addition of these premier fund companies to our platform demonstrates our continued commitment to provide our customers with access to a wide range of market-leading solutions from high caliber financial institutions that will help them grow their businesses and assist their clients in achieving their financial goals," said Mitchell Bell, director in the product management and development group at Pershing, in a statement.

Mutual funds from these financial organizations are now available to Pershing's broker/dealer customers and their investment professionals, including RIAs. FundVest offers investors access to about 2,700 mutual funds, managed by more than 180 fund companies. Through FundVest, investors can buy, sell, or exchange load and no-load mutual funds without incurring regular transaction fees.
