Web System To Lead Users To Care

CIGNA Health Care has introduced the Care Connections health care advice service.

Health plan members can use the Web-based system to find out what might be causing their symptoms, learn about treatment options, determine how much they might have to pay out of pocket for care, and locate relatively affordable specialists, according to CIGNA HealthCare, Bloomfield, Conn., a unit of CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia.

Members also can use the system to find cheaper equivalents to expensive name brands and to find low-cost imaging services providers, CIGNA says.
