The uninsured rate for the GLBT participants compared with an uninsured rate of 12% for the heterosexual adults who participated in the study, according to researchers at Harris Interactive Inc., Rochester, N.Y., and Witeck-Combs Communications Inc., Washington, a marketing firm that focus on the GLBT market.
