In support of breast cancer research, detection and treatment programs, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. and its agents have raised more than $100,000.
Using financial education programs called Pearls of Wisdom as the platform, company agents dispensed financial knowledge to consumers while MassMutual made contributions for each seminar conducted in October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The final tally came to $111,420, money that will go to local chapters of the American Cancer Society, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and other charities.
