When it comes to looking out for the good of the planet, it may not be the young idealists who are doing the most, at least on one measure.
According to a Harris Interactive poll, more Americans age 62 and older (Matures) recycle than those age 18-30 (Echo boomers). The poll found 30 percent of Echo boomers recycle nothing at all; only 19 percent of Matures do the same.
