Life insurance isn't always at the top of people's list of priorities. Many would rather visit the dentist and forgo the painkillers. Mutual of Omaha has tried to make an advisor's job easier by introducing four term life plans to make the buying process simpler.

Term Life 10, 15, 20 and 30 plans are designed to provide basic protection for all of life's stages and they offer competitive premium rates. Consumers receive a level death benefit and level premiums for the life of the term. Term 10 and 15 face amounts start at $100,000, while Term 15 and 30 offer face amounts of $50,000 and above.

  • Optional riders let advisors tailor coverage to individuals and include the following:
  • Accelerated death benefit. Comes at no cost in most states and provides 94 percent of the DB as a lump sum if life expectancy is 12 months or less.
  • Accidental death benefit.
  • Dependent children.
  • Other insured.
  • Waiver of premium. The premiumcan be waived for the duration of a disability.
