The days after the death of a loved one are emotional and sometimes confusing. As funerals become more expensive and taking care of any final bills remains cumbersome, insurance products that help survivors grow in popularity. Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Co., a provider of final expense products, announced the addition of products to its portfolio and underwriting changes.

Lincoln Heritage's more liberal underwriting stance means the number of uninsurable conditions drops from six to two, and the company can write standalone and AD&D riders for up to eight units instead of only five.

Its new product that is of interest to seniors is the 10-Year Term Product, which is a 10-year renewable term policy that is renewable to age 70 and convertible to age 80. Also added is a Preferred Product that is available in most states.
