The Hartford launched Hartford Global Equity Fund (HLEAX), a mutual fund classified as a Global Multi-Cap Core fund by Lipper, on March 1. The fund will be subadvised by Wellington Management Company, with Director of Research and head of the Global Research Equity strategy, Mark Mandel, and Senior Vice President, portfolio management, and Director of Research Portfolios, Cheryl Duckworth, supervising Wellington's global industry analysts who will manage the portfolio.

The fund's managers will use a bottom-up investment process, "broadly diversified across market cap and country spectrum, with 350+ security names across 40 countries," The Hartford's spokeswoman Maggie Dietrich says, via email.
