The board of Life Partners Holdings Inc. has authorized the purchase of up to 1 million shares of the company's stock.
Managers of Life Partners, Waco, Texas, a life settlement firm, can buy the stock back at whatever prices that seem to be prudent, the company says.
Any shares purchased on the open market will be returned to the company, the company says.
