Prudential Financial Inc. has introduced a simplified-issue term life insurance policy accessible through the Internet to customers of some banks and financial institutions.
The product, MyTerm, can be delivered in about 10 minutes to qualified customers completely on-line through participating banks' Web sites, says Prudential, Newark, N. J.
Targeted to middle-income consumers, MyTerm offers 10-, 20- or 30-year level term policy with face values ranging between $50,000 and $250,000, issued by Prudential subsidiary Pruco Life Insurance Company.
It is currently offered through National City Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio.
