The MetLife Mature Market Institute has revised a guide to finding and employing independent home care aides.
The institute, a unit of MetLife Inc., New York, is offering its brochure, "Since You Care: Hiring an Independent Caregiver," to help families locate qualified home health care aides or companions without using an agency.
Institute nurse care managers developed the guide together with experts from the National Alliance for Caregiving, Bethesda, Md.
