A large carrier wants to sell more pensions, group benefits and individual life insurance to business owners through property-casualty insurance agencies.

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, has brought Greg Boyko back from Japan to run the cross-selling initiative.

Boyko, who has been president and chairman of Hartford Life Insurance K.K., Tokyo, since April 2006, will continue to be chairman of the subsidiary in Japan.

But Boyko will turn day-to-day management responsibilities in Japan over to David Levenson.

Boyko has a bachelor's degree and a law degree from the University of Connecticut. He holds the Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations.
