UnitedHealth Loses Executive

Delta Air Lines Inc. has picked a managed care executive to be its new chief executive officer.

Delta Air Lines, Atlanta, has hired Richard Anderson away from UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn.

Anderson has been an executive vice president at UnitedHealth and a president of the company's commercial services group.

Anderson also has been CEO of Northwest Airlines Corp., Eagan, Minn.

William Munsell, another UnitedHealth executive vice president, will take over as head of the commercial services group, UnitedHealth says.
