SOA Designs Credential For Corporate Players

The Society of Actuaries has set up a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst professional education program.

To receive the CERA designation, candidates must take risk management classes and a professionalism course, and they must pass 5 examinations, according to the SOA, Schaumburg, Ill.

The CERA program is designed for individuals who want to work for businesses as risk analysts, risk managers or chief risk officers, the SOA says.
