The Financial Planning Association named E. Denby Brandon as the recipient of the 2007 P. Kemp Fain Jr. Award, which recognizes an FPA member who has made outstanding contributions to the planning profession. Brandon, who with his father founded Brandon Organizations in Memphis in 1952, has been a member of FPA and its predecessor organizations since 1982, was an original member of the CFP Board, serving as chairman in 1989, and was the first chairman of the CFP International Council in 1992.
