Morningstar, Inc. announced July 10 that it has named Kunal Kapoor as president of Morningstar Investment Services, replacing Art Lutschaunig, who had led the investment management subsidiary for the past four years. In a statement announcing the move, Morningstar Chairman and CEO Joe Mansueto thanked Lutschaunig, a former Fidelity Investments executive, for his efforts and wished him well "in his new endeavors." Kapoor was most recently director of business strategy for Morningstar's international operations, and Mansueto lauded him for his work in the recent acquisition of Standard & Poor's mutual fund data business.
