NAPFA has joined forces with fi360 and the Center of Fiduciary Excellence to give fee-only advisors who wish to provide advice to participants in company-sponsored retirement plans a new Web-based educational program that covers the 'Fiduciary Adviser' provision of the Pension Protection Act and delves into what's required of financial professionals.
The online educational program is two hours, and is produced and hosted by Don Trone of fi360–or Fiduciary360, which coordinates the resources of the Foundation for Fiduciary Studies, Center for Fiduciary Studies, and Fiduciary Analytics–and Carlos Panksep of the Center of Fiduciary Excellence. The announcement of the program coincides with NAPFA's release of its annual consumer education initiative–Focus on Fiduciary (www.FocusonFiduciary.com).
