The federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is asking outside groups to nominate topics for review by its evidence-based practice centers.
Professional societies, health systems, employers, insurers, providers and consumer groups that submit winning topics can help the evidence-based practice centers analyze matters relating to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of common diseases and clinical condition, as well as, topics relating to the organization and financing of health care, according to the AHRQ.
Topic nominations for major "general evidence reports" are due April 16, and topics for "comparative and effectiveness review" are accepted on an ongoing basis, the AHRQ says.
