Alex Sink, Florida's new chief financial officer, says she wants the state's insurance ombudsman to make health care one of his top priorities.
Sink and Bob Milligan, Florida's new insurance consumer advocate, are teaming up to try to increase awareness of the insurance consumer advocate's office.

Increasing access to and affordability of health insurance will be a top priority, Sink says.
"While property insurance has understandably been forefront on Floridians' minds, Florida has a real health insurance crisis as well," Sink says.
The insurance advocate may be able to bring in good ideas from other state and work with Congress to create federal solutions, Sink says.
