Jackson National Unit Adds ETF-Based Plan Program

National Planning Corp. has introduced a 401(k) retirement plan program for small and midsize employers that relies on use of exchange-traded funds.

Each participant will get personal investment advice from a financial advisor at no additional cost, according to National Planning, Santa Monica, Calif., a unit of Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Lansing, Mich.

The program includes a Web-based plan management system, quarterly onsite investment seminars and a choice of 5 portfolios managed by Avatar Associates, New York.
