Pearson Makes Medicare Announcements

A software company has developed a customer service management system for the Medicare Advantage private Medicare plan market.

Pearson Government Solutions Inc., London, says its new Informis system comes with marketing, contact management, sales management and operations components designed specifically for private Medicare plans.

Pearson Government, which is now a unit of Pearson P.L.C., London, but is being sold to a private equity fund, also has announced that Gorman Health Group L.L.C., Washington, a Medicare and Medicaid plan consulting firm, will be using the Informis system in the Health Care Concierge system, a new system for managing members' calls to customer service representatives.
