Players in the employee-paid insurance market may be feeling better about the market's performance over the next 12 months.

Researchers at Eastbridge Consulting Group Inc., Avon, Conn., have presented that conclusion in a summary of results from a survey of brokers, vendors and insurance company employees conducted in late 2006 and a similar survey conducted in July 2006.

About 98% of the survey participants predicted that worksite product sales will increase over the next 12 months, and 28% predicted that sales will "increase a lot," Eastbridge researchers report.

The overall Eastbridge Voluntary Industry Confidence Index has increased to 102.3, up from 100 a year ago.
