The American College has awarded its Huebner Gold Medal to Jack B. Turner, a former president of the Million Dollar Round Table and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.

The medal was presented during a ceremony at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.

Turner began his own agency, Jack B. Turner & Associates, Clarksville, Tenn., in 1958.

The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., offers education and training for insurance and financial professionals. It established the medal in 1975, naming it after its founder, Solomon S. Huebner, to recognize individuals who support the college and its educational programs.
