Consumers Life Extends Health Product To Wisc.

Consumers Life Insurance Company announced it will start to sell health insurance in Wisconsin.

The company, a subsidiary of Medical Mutual of Ohio, Cleveland, says it will offer only individual health policies at first, but this eventually will be followed by group products.

Consumers Life already sells its health policies in Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Georgia.

The initial product offering in Wisconsin will offer consumers a choice between 1 of 2 established networks of healthcare professionals: First Health or HealthEOS by Multiplan.
