A managed care company has added a preferred provider of electric wheelchairs and other power mobility products.
Health Net Inc., Woodland Hills, Calif., will be offering products from The Scooter Store Ltd., New Braunfels, Texas, to its 6.6 million health plan members, according to The Scooter Store.
The company says it has negotiated relationships with more than 70 managed care companies since it set up its managed care division in 2001.
