The American College plans to start a 3-day symposium and commencement event Nov. 8 in San Francisco.
The commencement ceremony, set for Nov. 10, will honor the education achievements of the class of 2005 and 2006, according to officials at the Bryn Mawr, Pa., financial services college.
Before the official event starts, the college will offer "residency" classes, to give candidates for the master of science in financial services degree who have completed self-study requirements a chance to qualify to participate in the commencement ceremony.
The college also has scheduled a full slate of speakers, including a number of seminars focusing on efforts to meet the changing needs of the baby boomers.
