XL Capital Shuffles Executive Team

XL Capital Ltd. has revamped its top management, effective July 1.

The company has established a new office of the chief executive officer, which will consist of XL's chief financial officer, a chief investment officer designate, a chief executive of business services and 2 newly created positions–chief operating officer and chief of staff, according to a company announcement.

Brian M. O'Hara will remain as president and chief executive officer of XL, Hamilton, Bermuda.

Henry C.V. Keeling, formerly global head of business services and chief executive of reinsurance life operations, has been appointed chief operating officer.

Clive Tobin, chief executive officer of insurance, and Jamie Veghte, chief executive officer of reinsurance general operations, will continue in those roles.

Fiona E. Luck, formerly global head of corporate services, has been named chief of staff in addition to her other responsibilities for corporate strategy, human resources, corporate communications, marketing and corporate social responsibility.

Jerry de St. Paer and Sarah E. Street will continue as chief financial officer and chief investment officer designate, respectively.

XL also is conducting an outside search for the position of chief executive for business services, according to the company announcement.
