A Utah distributor has signed an exclusive, multi-year distribution agreement with a life insurer.
Medical Group Insurance Services Inc., Salt Lake City, has agreed to get group life, accident and disability management for its customers from the Wellesley Hills, Mass.-based unit of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto.
MGIS sells to 3,000 physician group practices through a network of about 1,500 benefits brokers.
