Washington state is set to implement a new health insurance financial information law set to take effect June 7, Washington regulators say.
The law requires the Washington insurance commissioner's office to put a health insurance company financial information database on the Web.
The database will include information about medical loss ratios, administrative costs, average premiums per member per month, financial surplus levels and profit margins, officials say.
