A Bryn Mawr, Pa., specialty finance company has given a legal specialist a new title.
The company, J.G. Wentworth & Company Inc., has promoted William Skyrm to vice president for corporate and legal affairs from associate general counsel.

In 2004, Skyrm helped write a book for judges about the transfer of structured settlement annuities.
Skyrm has a bachelor's degree from Villanova University and a law degree from Widener University. He is a member of the resource board of the National Association of Women Judges, Washington.
