Advantage Group Associates Inc. predicts 25 companies will be selling equity-indexed universal life products by early 2007.
Advantage Group, Des Moines, Iowa, an indexed universal life industry consulting firm, estimates that the numbers of carriers in the market increased to 17 on Sept. 30, 2005, up from 12 on March 31, 2005.
Indexed UL policy sales increased to about $37 million for the third quarter of 2005, up about 30% from the total for the third quarter of 2004, the firm says.
