Fidelity Investments says its employer services business will set up a health savings account program in 2007.[@@]

The program will offer health accounts, recordkeeping services, access to Fidelity fund investments, and call center support, according to Fidelity, Boston.

Employers that use other Fidelity services can combine the Fidelity HSA program with the Fidelity retirement planning program, the Fidelity health plan management program and the Fidelity flexible savings account program, Fidelity says.

Fidelity will impose no minimum balance requirements on employees who want to open HSAs.

Fidelity began testing the program on its own employees this year.

Employers can add the program in 2006, and the HSAs will begin operation Jan. 1, 2007, Fidelity says.
