The health coverage unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc. has introduced the UnitedHealthcare Definity HRA program.[@@]

The program offers health reimbursement arrangement programs designed for employers with 2 to 149 employees, according to UnitedHealth, Minnetonka, Minn.

Unlike a health savings account program, an HRA program gives the employer the flexibility to offer health coverage with no deductible, a low deductible or a very high deductible for all types of care.

The Definity HRA program offers automatic rollover of claims to the HRA account, so that no extra paperwork is required, UnitedHealth says.

The program also uses UnitedHealth's provider network to get program members in-network rates and make HRA payments directly to hospitals and directors, the company says.
