A Midwestern insurer is making an equity-indexed crediting strategy available to purchasers of single-premium life insurance.[@@]
The insurer, AmerUs Group Company, Des Moines, Iowa, says it is introducing the indexed single-premium life policy along with a traditional, fixed-rate single-premium life policy.
AmerUs will be using a simplified underwriting process and a tele-application program for both policies.
AmerUs will be issuing the policies through its AmerUs Life Insurance Company and Indianapolis Life Insurance Company units.
