Carrier Publishes Resources For Benefits Buyers

Great-West Healthcare is offering health brokers 2 new employer-education tools.[@@]

One tool is a 21-question, Web-based assessment questionnaire. Employers can complete the questionnaire and go over the answers with their brokers to see if they are ready for plans incorporating health savings accounts or other personal health accounts, according to Great-West, Greenwood Village, Colo., a unit of Power Corporation of Canada, Montreal.

The other tool is "The Insider's Guide to Self-Funding," a 15-minute CD presentation that explains the mechanics of sponsoring a self-insured health plan.
