SHPS Inc. says it will be offering holders of flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts and other personal health accounts free use of account debit cards.[@@]
Employers now can use a single card to give employees access to several different health accounts, according to SHPS, Louisville, Ky.
SHPS has been charging a monthly fee for use of single-account cards.
The new card system can provide more of the kinds of information required by the Internal Revenue Service, and that should help make use of the card more convenient, SHPS says.
