In addition to managing the $900 million portfolio of the Eaton Vance Utilities Fund, Judith Saryan is vice president at Eaton Vance Management, in Boston, where she co-manages a little over $6 billion in three closed-end funds–Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Dividend Income Fund, Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Dividend Income Fund, and Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Dividend Opportunity Fund–and the open-end Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Dividend Income Fund.
Saryan joined Eaton Vance in 1999, after 18 years at State Street Global Advisors as a portfolio manager and equity analyst, and three years before that at Colonial Management. She has studied comparative economics systems and developmental economics, abroad, and has an economics degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts.
