MetLife Inc. is trying to use the Web to persuade workers to think about longevity.[@@]

MetLife, New York, has set up Lifelong Income from MetLife, a retirement income education center that is now part of the company's MyBenefits member portal system.

Features of the incoming planning section include calculators that will help employees analyze the current value of their assets, predict their life expectancies, estimate their future Social Security benefit levels and determine how much income they will need to support themselves once they retire, MetLife says.
