Conseco, Carmel, Ind., has hired John Baskin, James Gomez, David Klein and Mike Szemeredy to be annuity wholesalers.
Baskin previously was a regional vice president of sales at American National Life, Galveston, Texas. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.
Gomez has been a regional vice president of sales with ING/ReliaStar, a U.S. unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M. He holds the Certified College Planning Specialist professional designation.
Klein has been a wholesaler and annuity division leader at Diversified Underwriters Services Inc., Miami. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
Szemeredy has spent 8 years as a regional vice president at Presidential Life Insurance Company, Nyack, N.Y. He has a bachelor's degree in business studies and urban planning from the University of Toronto.
