An Allstate Company subsidiary has launched 2 new deferred annuities.[@@]
Lincoln Benefit Life Insurance Co., Northbrook, Ill., says its new SureHorizon II and SureHorizon Choice annuities will be sold by its appointed independent financial representatives and by Allstate agents. They will be available nationwide except in New York, Oregon and Massachusetts.
SureHorizon II is a flexible premium deferred annuity for customers who want to lock in a rate of return guaranteed for 1, 3, 5 or 6-year guarantee periods. The product has a contract-year based surrender charge schedule and a minimum premium of $100 per month.
For those who want a longer-term investment, SureHorizon Choice, a single-premium deferred annuity, offers higher crediting rates than SureHorizon II. It includes 1, 3, 6 and 9-year guarantee periods and a 3% minimum guaranteed rate.
