A number of large employers have banded together to help uninsured Americans obtain affordable health care coverage.[@@]
Under the banner of the HR Policy Association, Washington, the group has established a new program, National Health Access, to provide an estimated 1.25 million uninsured workers and their dependents a chance to obtain reasonably priced health care insurance.
The employers include Avon Products Inc., IBM, Sears, General Electric, EMC Corp. and Federal-Mogul.
