ING Americas has introduced a streamlined variable annuity aimed at consumers who normally would buy fixed-income products.[@@]
The product, the ING Simplicity Variable Annuity contract, has a streamlined prospectus and a 1-page application form, according to ING Americas, West Chester, Pa., which is part of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam.
In addition to having a simple prospectus and application, the product comes with a menu of just 4 asset-allocation funds and an integrated living benefit and death benefit structure, ING says.
