Pru Supports Contest For Disability Programs

Prudential Financial Inc. is helping to sponsor a program that will encourage nonprofit groups to help people with disabilities.[@@]

Prudential, Newark, N.J., is supporting a competition developed by the National Organization on Disability, Washington, that will invite 40 nonprofit groups to describe local programs or projects that help people with disabilities.

The 5 winning associations each will receive $2,500 donations to honor the efforts of local chapters to help people with disabilities participate in the social, economic and cultural lives of their communities, Prudential says.
