The new version, Payment Optimizer 2.5, provides prepayment and postpayment analysis aimed at cutting fraud losses, says the company, Minneapolis.

The new version adds pharmacy data and analyses to help detect suspicious activity and spot billing and policy errors in pharmacy claims at the point of sale, either before or immediately after payment.
