The New York State Insurance Department has put Randolph Mineo in charge of starting and leading a new "office of the inspector general" at the New York Liquidation Bureau.[@@]
Mineo will be in charge of detecting fraud and waste in efforts to rehabilitate and liquidate troubled New York state insurers.
The New York department recently picked Jody Hall, the liquidation bureau's chief operating officer, to succeed James O'Connor as the bureau's chief executive officer.
